Sweet Potato Pie~2/10/13

My husband, the baker, made this amazing sweet potato pie. 

It was so good. He used Coconut Oil for the crust and it was so flaky. (At least we have one good use for coconut oil since it's really not any better for you than butter.)

Miss Kay has nothing on my hubs. =)

Cornstarch Sidewalk Paint~2/7/13

I made cornstarch paint for Heidi the other day and she loved it.

It rained that night and all washed away. I love this stuff.

Desdemona~2/9/13

Kirk has been working with our horse a lot lately.

We went to see him the other day and Heidi was so happy to have a ride.

Where's the snow?~2/7/13

Heidi is having this thing lately that she always wants to wear her snow boots.

And usually it also includes wearing her Mickey jacket.

It's pretty funny. 

My little sister, Emily, used to walk around with no shirt and snow boots all the time growing up.

She turned out pretty well so I guess we probably don't need to worry. =)

Just normal day-to-day~1/27/13

Sometimes we have to take pictures with Kirk's phone since we don't carry our big camera every where we go. Then it takes him awhile to actually upload those pictures onto the computer. So I get a little out of order on the blog. Oh well.

Heidi calls this Follow the Leader. Not really sure where she got that. She just walks down Daddy. She seriously loves it.

Jan/Feb Family bdays~2/2/13

Mark and I have shared a birthday for many years since mine is in Jan and his is in Feb.

This year we got to share our bdays with Jonah (end Ollie was born in Jan this year too). 

We went to Logandale for Ollie's blessing so we celebrated the bdays that Saturday.

Dun dun dundundun dun dun.

Heidi and Evy had a great time together again. They especially liked following Grandpa around the yard and shop.

And jumping on the trampoline.

 I think this is an 'I love you' headlock.

She seriously loves Gran and Grandpa's house.

Exercise~1/25/13

So Kirk and I have been doing p90X2 this year. It has been great. I love going to the gym but since that isn't going to happen here in Panaca this workout is the next best thing.

Heidi loves to exercise with us. There are lots of explosive exercises so sometimes we have to navigate around her but it is so much fun to have her do it with us.

Sometimes it becomes more like play though.
