Climb Every Mountain #2~01/5/14

Seriously, this kid is always climbing.
She gives me lots of gray hairs.

One of her favorite things to do is look out the window after her nap and find the cats that wander the neighborhood. She really loves cats and gets so excited when she finds one.
We just love this baby.

Biker Babe~01/02/14

Alice loves to just sit on the motorcycle.
She is actually learning how to drive it too. =)

Date Night~01/03/14

Tonight was a very special date night.
Kirk and Heidi went to Heidi's first movie!
They went to Blanding to see Frozen. She LOVED it!
When I told her that Daddy wanted to take her on a date to the movies she was so excited. She wanted to get all dressed up and was ready to go as soon as he got home.
The theater is really small and there were a lot of people for this movie so they almost didn't make it in. The theater started telling people they wouldn't be able to sit with each other so a lot of people left. Kirk figured he would just hold Heidi on his lap if he had to. By the time they got to the front of the line there were two seats left together so they were good.
They got home pretty late that night but Heidi was a very happy girl about seeing the movie with her Daddy.

New Year's Eve~12/31/13

New Year's Eve was very uneventful for us this year.
Our neighbor, Tessa, brought over a few poppers that she and Heidi popped.
Then the girls went to bed at their same time.
Kirk and I watched a little bit of the NYC New Year's celebration but we were in bed by about 11pm.
Boring, I know. We'll party next year. =)

Curling~12/29/13

Gran curls her hair with foam curlers and Heidi wanted some.
Gran was so nice to give her a whole pack of her own.
The girls really love sticking them in their hair...and Daddy's.

Christmas in Logandale~12/24-29/13

This year was a Bailey Christmas.
We headed to Logandale on Christmas Eve. We went through Arizona and over the dam to Vegas.
This was on our way. We had to let the girls out of the truck to wiggle a little.
Alice was so happy to run around.
The Christmas Eve pageant and party was at the Mark Baileys' in Vegas this year.
The girls had a great time being in the pageant.
Mae Mae, Olivia, and Alice Lue: The shepherds
Heidi Boo, Janie, and Evy: The wisemen

When we got back to Logandale after the party we hung our stockings then the girls went right to bed. It was very late.

Santa was up ALL night putting the presents together!
Christmas morning was so much fun with the girls.
They were so excited.

Heidi loves to take pictures so she took some of all the adults.

The rest of our time was spent hanging with fam, eating great food, and playing lots of games.
Kirk and Heidi even took some pennies to the train tracks.
It was such a great week with the family.
Love Christmas time!!

Christmas Dresses~12/22/13

The girlys in their beautiful Christmas dresses.

Reading Time~12/21/13

Alice loves books.
Usually she will bring me a book then turn around and back up into my lap to have it read to her.
It is really quite funny to watch her be so determined.
Sometimes though she wants to read to herself.

I'm sure it doesn't get much cuter!

Preschool Chrsitmas Program~12/19/13

Heidi is loving preschool!
I am so happy we got her in this year.
For Christmas they put on a little nativity and a singing program. It was so stinking cute!
They did the program for an elderly couple in our town first and then the next school day they put it on for the parents. Heidi was Mary the first time and a shepherd the second time.
She did such a great job and really got into some of the songs.

Salt Lake~12/14/13

Kirk's friend, Redneck, got married in the Manti temple this weekend.
Friday we stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Saturday morning we all headed up North.
Grandma and Mommy went to Salt Lake to meet up with Grandma Great to see the Nutcracker ballet. It was AMAZING!! I really did love it. I haven't seen it since I was a little girl so it was so fun. Now I want to see it every Christmas. And I can't wait until the girls are old enough to go.
Daddy, Grandpa, and the girls went to the sealing in Manti. Grandpa watched the girls while Daddy went to the sealing. Then they met us in Salt Lake.
After we got checked into the hotel we went to dinner at a Döner place. It was so good. Then we spent some time looking at the lights on Temple Square. Kirk and I met up with Kirk's friend Josh and his wife Taylor to go to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert. I hope we are able to get tickets to that every year. Grandma and Grandpa took the girls back to the hotel to go to bed.
The concert was amazing. They told a story about Charles Dickens writing A Christmas Carol. It was great. We stayed at the Peery Hotel which we really like.
Sunday morning we headed to Heber to see Grandma and Grandpa great. We also bought a 4-wheeler from Uncle Bruce.
It was a great weekend and really got us into the holiday spirit.
