The Pantry Monster

1/30/12
Apparently Mommy can't leave the pantry door open.
Those were the yummy Cheerios too.

A Fabulous Invention

1/29/12
Yvonne had one of these in Switzerland and we were so jealous.
Then walking through an Albertson's in Vegas we found one so we couldn't pass it up.
Those Swedes know how to make those kitchen supplies.

Grandma Great 1/14/12

We drove to Heber to visit Grandma and Grandpa Great. It was really fun to spend some time with them. Kirk's grandpa as always been called a grumpy old man but I love him so much and Grandma Lue is one of the sweetest woman ever. They had such a great time with Heidi.
We also bought Grandpa Jim's truck that weekend. It is such a great truck and perfect for us. I think it is a 1998 and only has 58K miles on it. We are so grateful to be able to have this truck.
A few weeks later we went to St. George and did a little shopping. Since we moved the week before we needed a couch, clothes dryer, storage shed and twin mattress. Luckily we had the truck.
1/28/12
We moved to an apartment in Panaca. We are so happy with the move. It was really fast so most of the moving had to be done during the week. Kirk was at work so Noah and I did most of the moving. Dad, Mom and Emily came up one day to help as well. I don't know what we would have done without them. The apartment is a lot smaller than Kathy's house but it is only 5 years old (instead of 150!) and it is very clean. Heidi is able to roam free with out being caged in. The kitchen is so much bigger and there are two bathrooms. It's just a better place for us. We are so much more comfortable and happy. My birthday was a little uneventful (30 years old!!!) so I count this as my big birthday thing!
Lots of things happening in 2 weeks. Just keeps things exciting.

Funny faces and Cute Kitties 1/11/12

This kid has some interesting expressions.

Our next door neighbor got a cat to help with their mouse problem. (Damn mice!!!) This cat had kittens. So I decided to feed the cats every morning so they would hang around our house and catch any mice. Heidi loved the kitties. Especially the kittens.

All this girl needs to be happy is an animal or two to say hi to.

Climb every mountain 1/9/12

Heidi has become a climber.
Give me strength.
Sometimes she stacks and then climbs. At least we know she isn't a scaredy cat. =)

She also wants everything in the wagon with her. She's quite the pack horse. =)

Pears are yummy! Apparently. 1/7/12

I am not sure where this child came from.
She likes fruit.
She obviously did not get that from her loving mother. =)

I got a new bike for my graduation back in July and haven't had much opportunity to ride it so Kirk and I decided to take a ride on a very cold day.
Heidi did look stinkin' cute in her snow outfit. =)

Europe 2011 December 22, 2011- January 2, 2012.

I'm not going to write everything we did in Europe in this post since that would take FOREVER! But I will share some fun stuff and lots of pictures.
We left for Europe on December 22, 2011. We stayed the night in Vegas the night before and went to the airport real early that morning.
The flights weren't terrible but we were pretty tired. Heidi did awesome. She slept through almost every flight we took on the trip. And we only had to drug her a few times. =)

We arrived in Latvia on the 23rd.
Heath, Melinda and their kids are so awesome and the best tour guides we could have asked for.

The best stockings ever! Handmade in Latvia.
On the 26th we headed to Switzerland. We were so sad to say goodbye to the Latvians but were excited to see the Swiss folks.
There are way too many pictures to share so I will only be putting a few on here and will make a separate book for the rest.
But here are a few.
We did a ton of fun stuff in Switzerland.
Visited Pilatus, visited Bern, went to a professional hockey game, went snowboarding in the Alps, ate amazing food, especially chocolate and cheese and even visited Heidiland.

This was an amazing trip and on we will never forget.
We love you Latvians and our Swiss folk.
Hope to see you again very soon.
