Bear Lake~7/23-27/14

This year's Bear Lake trip was great, as always.
We got there on Wednesday and left on Sunday so we had a full week.
We had tons of lake time, beach time, swimming, tennis, yummy food, delicious shakes, and awesome time with the fam.
We can't wait to go back, as always. =)

Shoes~7/21/14

These girls love to wear my shoes.
Especially the really tall high heels.
Teaching them young.

Cleveland Days~7/19/14

We love Cleveland days so we couldn't resist a quick trip this year. The girls had a great time with their cousins.
Riding in the parade.
Yes, that's a kid leading a donkey down main street Cleveland. Fabulous.
Watching the parade and waiting for Mommy to bring her candy.

Getting tons of candy!
Next came lunch at the park and the races.
This basket one was very funny. Kids flying all over the place. My girls weren't the biggest fans but I laughed. Hard.

I didn't get a picture of them running because I was trying to cheer them on but both my babies won their races!!! I was so proud! Here's to hoping I passed some of my legs onto them.
Kirk and I also won the three-legged race. We rock.

Our New Backyard~7/17/14

We closed on our new house this month. And this is our backyard!
The guy we bought the house from owns an elk farm that borders our new property. It's very cool to see these guys right from your window.
We haven't moved into the house yet and won't for awhile. We are doing some major renovations and an addition to it but we are very excited to have FINALLY closed and to move ahead with the construction. The girls love it out there, too.

Riding Along In My Automobile~7/9/14

...my sister beside at the wheels.
I seriously love these little people.
And they seriously love each other.

Bailey Family Reunion Take 1~7/11-13/14

I decided to host a family reunion this year here in Monticello for the Bailey side. Heath and his family were only going to be here for a little while so I thought it would be fun to have everyone come check out where we live now while they were here.
Not everyone was able to make it this year but hopefully the tradition continues and more will come next time.
We spent our time hiking south of Blanding and in Arches National Park, eating yummy food, playing Annie-I-Over (so fun!), swimming, and just hanging around and talking. It was such a great weekend and I hope everyone enjoyed it. Hopefully it happens again next year.

This hike was WAY longer than anyone expected but the cliff dwellings were very cool to see and that view...awesome!

We hiked to Delicate Arch and it was great.
I ran down most of the way so I could get lunch ready before anyone else got done so Kirk walked most of the way with both girls. Such an awesome Daddy. And yes, Heidi carried that recorder the entire way. And yes, Alice sucked on the camelbak the entire way. The entire way.
We had an awesome time with everyone and missed those that couldn't be here. Next year, hopefully!

Happy 4th!-7/4/14

We don't get to Logandale so much anymore for the 4th since we live so far but thankfully Blanding does a pretty good job celebrating.
The girls love the parade. Especially the candy.

After the parade we spent some time at the little fair they have. The girls had a great time playing the games. That night we watched the fireworks in Blanding. Thankfully we ran into our neighbors and were able to watch the fireworks from their family office which helped stay away from the crowds.
Such a fun day as a family and since my girls love the American flag they had a great day. =)
