Another Crazy Sleep~7/21/13

And fast asleep.

Cleveland Days and Player Family Reunion~7/19-7/21/13

On Friday we went to Cleveland for their 24th of July Cleveland Days celebration.
They make a pretty big deal out of it and it was really fun.
We got there on Friday night so we didn't get to go to the lamb fry or the movie in the park.
Saturday we woke up EARLY and went to the color run.
It was so fun. The babies stayed with Grandma and Grandpa in the park while we ran.
It was a blast.

After the race we ate breakfast at the park.
Then we went home to get showered.
We hosed off in the yard before entering the house and there was no hot water since the water heater was being replaced so showering off was no fun.
After we got ready, Grandpa, Kirk, me, and the girls headed to Salt Lake to go to the Player family reunion. We never do anything with the Player side so it was nice to see (and meet) them.
We were also going to look at a car to buy with a salvage title but that didn't work out.

Making hats and bookmarks was the craft for the kids. Heidi loved it.
After spending some time in the park we went to a museum in Taylorsville that has some Player stuff in it.

After the museum we went back to Cleveland.
We had dinner then went to the fireworks.
They put on a great show.
We also got some delicious treats from the Forbidden Fruit. Yummy!

Alice loved watching the fireworks.
And Heidi was in heaven with the glow sticks.
We had such a great weekend.
Next up...Bear Lake!

Water, Water, Water.~7/16/13

We seriously loved having the Warburton girls here.
Tuesday our day was full of water fun.
First we made some delicious caramel popcorn. The girls even helped.
Then we set up the slip-n-slide.
It was a huge hit. We had to wait awhile for Heidi to wake up then she took awhile to get into it but she liked it in the end.
Alice did not. One. Bit.

Tessa from across the street loves our girls and we love her!

When Kirk got home we went to Canyonlands.
We had a great time seeing newspaper rock and going on a short hike.
Then we were on our way back and we couldn't cross the road. It was flooded. Bad.
We really thought we might be there for a few hours.
Poor Mae was so hungry and we didn't bring anything for her. She was quite miserable.
After about 20 minutes Kirk walked to the water to see if he could wade across and he could see the white line the whole time. He yelled for us to hurry across because we weren't sure if more water was coming. I was peeing at that moment so I had to hurry there. And the big girls were running around so we had to corral them. It was all very exciting and stressful.
We got across and headed home.
It poured so badly on the way home. We could barely see out our windshields even with the wipers at full speed.
It was so fun!

The next day was Wednesday and Amy and her girls left after we went to the library.
We were so sad to see them go. We loved having them here.
