My beautiful sweet baby Alice is 8 months old.
I seriously cannot believe it. I know people say that all the time but every time I think about it I get so sentimental. I really feel like I should still have a newborn. She isn't eating any solid food right now because of her hospital visit so that may have something to do with it but I also think it's because I have Heidi to compare her to.
I still have such a great time watching this little girl grow. Every day is something new and it's so awesome to see her discover things.
When we took her to the hospital she only weighed 16 lbs. 7 oz. which is only about 5 oz. more than she weighed at her 6 months appt. She was very dehydrated but it's still kind of odd.
She sits up and army crawls all over the place. She is EVERYWHERE!
It's so funny to have her follow me around the house. When she wants me to pick her up she grabs onto my legs and feet. It's darling.
I've already mentioned the food thing so she's nursing about every 2 hours. I think only nursing is making her more hungry so she's not sleeping as well at night. She is waking up at about midnight and then again around 4am to eat.
Her teeth aren't causing any problems except she did bite me once while nursing. Yowzers.
She is gabbing so much so much now. She has also started saying Dada. It is so cute! She's looks for her Daddy when you ask her where Daddy is. I'm pretty sure it melts his heart.
She is the smiliest babe. And Heidi makes her laugh so hard.
Naps are easy. She takes one at 9am, one at noon, and then another at 4pm.
She is pulling herself up now and climbing on things that aren't too high off the ground.
She still fake cries and scrunches her face when she does.
She will dance when music plays. So awesome!
She still has her Orthodox Jew hairstyle. You know, short everywhere but long around the face in front of ears. It's pretty stinkin' cute.
Everything goes in her mouth.
She loves to be thrown in the air.
The vacuum startles her.
She sleeps on her face.
She is starting to wave bye-bye.
This kid is perfect and amazing and sweet and darling and has completely won us all over.
Love this babe.
