Kirk went caroling with the Young Men and Women with his Dad's huge trailer. It was a fun sight to see.
And while he was doing that, I gave Heidi her first haircut!
I have been putting this off for a very long time. Her hair is so beautiful and long, it just didn't need it. It was, however, getting a little hard to manage at the ends and just needed to be cleaned up.
I have been terrified that a cut was going to make her lose all her curls but I had to do it.
Her hair does not have the same spiral curls at the end as it always has, unfortunately, but it looks so nice. I'm so glad we cut it even if I'm also a little sad to lose those darling curls.
