We had to go down to Vegas for a doctor's appointment this week. On the way down it was raining pretty hard. The road was pretty flooded right by Coyote Springs. We tried to take some pictures of it but they really didn't do it justice.
On the way home we were stopped at this spot for 2.5 hours because they closed the road. Heidi did so great, considering. She didn't cry until right before we were allowed through and then she just fell asleep. It was quite the ordeal.
We also found out at this appointment that the placenta is still low but is not anything to be worried about. The baby is growing perfectly and seems to be very healthy. I also asked the ultrasound tech to check her gender again, just to be sure, since the first lady was so uncertain about it. She's still a girl. =) We are very excited to meet her.
