Navajo Fair- 9/14/13

Kirk works with a lot of Navajo people and found out about the Navajo Fair through them.
It was in Bluff so we headed down there this afternoon to check it out.
It really wasn't very big but the stuff was pretty cool.
There were lots of Navajo tacos and Fry-bread for sale.
There was also a couple jumpy, blow up things for the kids but Heidi didn't want to play in them.
We also watched a Pow-Wow which apparently isn't very Navajo but it was still cool to hear them sing and watch them dance. I tried to get a picture of one of them with Heidi but she told me no. I don't think it's a thing in their culture to not have their picture taken but she didn't want me to. Oh well.
It was fun.
We didn't actually eat at the fair since we weren't feeling like fry-bread and it was pretty expensive so we stopped at a little cafe on the edge of Bluff. It was tasty.
It was a fun evening.

These are the Navajo Twins.
