Paris, France~9/4-5/13

Since Heath and Melinda are in the Philippines they couldn't come with Luke to go into the MTC.
We offered to take him so he didn't have to do it alone so Tuesday afternoon we picked him up from the airport.
He had to run a couple of errands and then we hung out at Gran and Auntie Amy's hotel room. Luke was pretty tired so we went to bed early.
Luke, Heidi, Alice and I stayed in Lehi with Uncle Brady, Mary and Shelby.
We went to the hotel for breakfast and then ran a couple more errands.
We went to Los Hermanos for lunch since they give missionaries a free meal on the day they go into the MTC.
Then we headed to the MTC.
We parked across the street and got everything ready.
Cami met us at Los Hermanos and then went to the MTC with us.
She stayed with the girls while we drove across the street to drop him off.
It's a lot different than it used to be. You pull up to the curb where missionaries are waiting to be the new ones guides. You get the luggage out of the car, give hugs, then he's off.
It's like the airport. It's quick but I think it's less painful.
We are so grateful to have been able to be a part of this.
I am so grateful for Luke's example to my kids and for his testimony.
We will miss him while he's gone but we are excited for his mission. He will be awesome. The French are a very lucky group of people to get such an awesome missionary.

Sure do love this kid.
Go with Faith, Elder Bailey.
