Last night (8/8/15) was our first night in the Elk House.
The house is in shambles with boxes and construction items and stuff all over the place but we are in it and couldn't be happier.
Our mattress is in the front room and probably will be for awhile since our room is full of stuff that needs to be unpacked. It is also taking me a little time to get used to my kids being upstairs while I'm downstairs at night. But I know I will get used to it eventually and we can actually sleep in our own bedroom.
For now we are just loving being here.
The Goodwines kept the babies while we did the last day of our move. Kirk and I just cranked it out and got the rest moved all by ourselves, load after load. It was a long day but felt good to get it done.
The kids had a blast with the Goodwines. They even went to the fair which we weren't able to go to at all this year.
